8 of the best ways to spend a festive evening at Fort Kinnaird

With stores open until 9pm Monday-Friday and 6pm Saturday-Sunday, and many restaurants open until 10 or 11pm, we’ve got plenty to tempt you with.

2. Relaxed dining at Wagamama

If pan-Asian cuisine is more your thing, head to Wagamama and enjoy their incredible Asian-inspired menu. There’s no need to book in advance, so rock up any time and take a seat on one of their benches. With all kinds of rice and noodle dishes, alongside fresh salads and shareable sides, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed dinner with a friend. There are desserts, fresh juices, hot drinks, wine, sake and expertly crafted Asian beers too, along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options thanks to their 50% plant pledge menu.

 

3. Get together at Pizza Hut

It’s time to get together and share a pizza with friends at Pizza Hut. Whether you like a Stuffed Crust, All American Thin, Original Pan, vegan or even gluten-free, there’s something for everyone. Each pizza comes with a salad, and if you fancy even more sides then you can get three for just £13.99. If you’re after a lighter bite, then Pizza Hut’s loaded flatbreads have less than 550 calories each. Pizza Hut has also launched some extra-cheesy specials, including the Melting Steak & Chorizo pizza, and Chicken-izo Melt. 4. Turn up the heat at Nando’s 

Head to Nando’s Fort Kinnaird to taste the legendary flame-grilled PERi PERi chicken dishes and mouth-watering sides.

5. Make every night a Friday night

Pair them with a freshly made to order flame-grilled burger or tender 28-day aged seasoned steak and make it a night to remember.

It’s time to enjoy shopping in real life again! With a whole host of shops at Fort Kinnaird – from Accessorize, H&M, Fat Face and Goldsmiths to JD Sports, New Look, Next and Primark and River Island – enjoy some late-night retail therapy and stock up on essentials for the party season.

Why not make a trip of it and bring a friend along? They can help you pick the perfect outfit, encourage you to try on new styles and, after the shopping is done, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants at Fort Kinnaird.

Our stores are open until 9pm Monday-Friday and are usually a little quieter after 6pm, so visiting us in the evening is a good way to shop at a more leisurely pace. On Saturdays and Sundays our stores are open until 6pm.

 

8. Enjoy a movie

After a long day at work, a cinema trip is perfect to just sit back, relax and enjoy the film. Head to ODEON to catch the latest highly anticipated releases, from EternalsGhostbusters: Afterlife to West Side Story and so much more.  With seven screens of pure entertainment, there are plenty of options, however it’s best to plan ahead, view the latest Edinburgh cinema listings and book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

We’re open until 9pm Monday-Friday and 6pm Saturday-Sunday, with ODEON cinema, and our restaurants open later. We always recommend checking with individual retailers before setting off to be sure.
