Councillor Gavin Barry, Chair of the Economy Committee, City of Edinburgh Council

“I recently visited the Fort Kinnaird Recruitment and Skills Centre and was extremely impressed. British Land, the owners of Fort Kinnaird, are providing the building and helping to promote the centre to employers, and the other partners are providing the training and recruitment services. Christmas recruitment was the foundation on which the centre was built but what really struck me is that it has resulted in people of all ages getting on the career ladder and going on to permanent jobs in retail.”

Nicola Norcross, TK Maxx

“Really happy, good candidates and excellent assistance from RSC staff with group session scoring etc. Really helpful unique service, use of RSC meeting rooms has increased for Scottish manager’s meetings, good service due to location and facilities provided”

A Parveen: FKRSC Talent Bank job seeker (Primark)

’ I joined the Talent Bank in March or April. Since then, they have helped me a lot. They kept me up to date with vacancies on the website. They left me independently to apply for jobs but whenever I needed help they would always be there to give me good advice. Finally, I did get a job in November, and I am absolutely enjoying the experience. I would like to thank Kenny who was handling my case and helped me every time I needed it.

Thank you for sending a good reference for me. I am very thankful and grateful to the talent bank for helping me out until now’.
