Planning Your Visit

Our shops, cafes and restaurants are open, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Fort Kinnaird is located in a COVID protection level 3 area, so please follow the Scottish government’s guidance.

This includes:

  • Wearing a face covering at all times when indoors, unless you are fully seated in a designated dining area. This is a legal requirement
  • Only visiting with a group of up to six people from a maximum of two households

Our cafes and restaurants will close by 6pm, with the last entry no later than 5pm.

In line with the Scottish government’s guidance, our cinema will also be temporarily closed.

To help manage the risk of transmission, the Scottish government is advising people not to travel into or out of an area if it has been categorised as a COVID protection level 3 area. When visiting us, please help everyone at to stay safe by:
•    Washing your hands regularly
•    Staying at least two metres apart 
•    Using contactless payment methods where possible

The wellbeing of our colleagues and customers is our number one priority, and so we’ve introduced extra measures to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable visit. These include:
•    Hand sanitising stations
•    New signage systems to support social distancing
•    Plexiglass screen barriers at our visitor desks 
•    Enhanced cleaning regimes, including regular cleaning of key touchpoints throughout the day

We are carefully managing visitor numbers, so we can be confident that everyone can maintain social distancing. If we or our retail partners become particularly busy, we may ask you to queue considerately in a designated area outside of the stores, and we may also temporarily close our car parks .

Our on-site team are on hand to help and have all been provided with suitable PPE such as face coverings and gloves to help them carry out their roles safely.

Getting here and heading home

Your usual way of accessing our car parks may have changed in place to help support social distancing. 
If we become particularly busy, individual retailers may ask you to queue considerately in a designated area outside, and we may also temporarily close our car parks. 

Car parking
All our car parks remain open as usual however we will be carefully monitoring traffic and may need to temporarily adapt or close some of our car parks if we reach capacity.

Other ways to travel
Anyone planning to use public transport to visit Fort Kinnaird should check their service in advance. Partial bus services will be available. Please click here

Cyclists can make use of the three sheltered, and eight uncovered bike racks we have available at Fort Kinnaird.
